ADULT DRIVING
If you are over the age of 18 and think that is too late to get a driver license. Do Not feel bad thousands of people been there. We dedicate ourselves to teach you how to drive. Our patient, eager and professional instructors will take you contentedly through our step by step process and help you become a safe, confident, and licensed driver.
THE WRITTEN TEST
Your first step is to go to a DMV field office and take a written test. We can provide you with the study guide to help you study and all necessary DMV booklets (California Driver Handbook) to help you get ready. Once you have passed the written test and received an instructional permit you may practice with anyone who has a valid California driver license or with one of our professional instructors.
DRIVING INSTRUCTION
Our patient and eager instructors are ready to train you in behind the wheel. Our instructors will train you on basic car control all the way to advanced driving techniques. We will train you in many aspects pf parking like parallel, uphill/downhill and diagonal parking. Our instructors will then evaluate your learned skills and give you a simultaneous practice drive test and notify you of your strength and weaknesses.
THE DRIVE TEST
Before getting your driver license you have to take a drive test at the DMV. You must pass the test satisfactorily of at least eighty-five percent (85%) in order to pass. We do recommend that you take at least one lesson with a professional instructor that way our instructor will explain all the details for you about the drive test and help you be more confident of passing the test and getting your license. The DMV Examiners do not like to be treated as driving school instructors, when you are taking your test to see what they need to learn.
THE CURRICULUM
Our curriculum includes:
- Vehicle orientation.
- Basic car control (Starting and stopping, forward and backward).
- Scanning, Identifying hazards using this mnemonic SIPDE (See, Identify, Predict, Decide, Execute).
- Proper turning techniques
- Traffic surface streets and freeway driving.
- Parking.
- Turnabout.
- Uphill/downhill parking.
